About the role
As a Front Desk Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will welcome visitors, manage access control and badges, monitor alarm panels, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will help maintain a secure, professional environment while supporting daily operations.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and vendors at a front desk within a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Monitor access to the facility by greeting and screening visitors, verifying credentials, issuing visitor badges, maintaining visitor logs, and directing guests in accordance with site requirements.
- Answer incoming calls, receive deliveries, coordinate with site contacts, and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel in a professional and courteous manner.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly notifying designated personnel and following established response procedures.
- Maintain accurate front-desk records, including visitor activity, incident details, and shift communications, while helping to deter unauthorized access to the location.
Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Qualifications
- CPR and First Aid experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Pay
$19.47 / Hour
Schedule
- Day shift: Monday and Sunday, 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
