Security Officer Part Time Vehicle Patrol Driver

About the role
As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. This driving position offers the opportunity to deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and support a welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and drivers at a logistics and distribution location while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, parking lots, access points, trailer yards, building perimeters, and other assigned areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access to the location by observing entry and exit activity, verifying authorization as directed by site procedures, and documenting visitor, vehicle, and delivery information.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
- Prepare clear, accurate reports regarding patrols, incidents, unusual activity, and security-related concerns in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience are preferred.
- X-ray screening experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$15.24 / Hour
Schedule
- Monday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
- Friday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
- Sunday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
