Security Officer Part Time Vehicle Driver

About the role

As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a food and beverage location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This driving position requires operating in accordance with AU Driver Policy requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers at a food and beverage production and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility grounds, production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate security-related logs and incident documentation.
• Observe loading and receiving activity, report suspicious activity or policy concerns, and communicate with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Pay

$19.25 - $20.25 / Hour

• Tuesday: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sunday: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
