Security Officer Part Time Unarmed - Weekends

About the role

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Unarmed Security Officer for weekend shifts in Savannah, GA. This driving role involves conducting routine vehicle and foot patrols at an aerospace and defense location, maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents, responding to concerns, and delivering customer service while helping protect people, property, and operations.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, aircraft support areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to identify and report unusual activity or potential hazards
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized access attempts or policy violations
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts

Requirements

• Must be at least 19 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located
• Security experience of 1+ years
• Must have great customer service skills
• Must be comfortable using a computer or tablet
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment

Schedule

• Part Time
• Saturday: 07:00 AM – 03:00 PM
• Sunday: 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM

$18.00 / Hour
