As a Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Vehicle Patrol Driver in Cleveland, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Education. This role offers flexibility to build a schedule that works for you and the opportunity to explore new roles using the Claim a Shift platform.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus community members while carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established campus protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of academic buildings, residence areas, parking facilities, walkways, and perimeter areas; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, hazardous conditions, facility concerns, and policy violations to the appropriate personnel, helping to deter unauthorized activity.
• Assist with access control, visitor direction, and documentation of incidents, patrol activity, and other security-related observations.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
