Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate incident, patrol, and daily activity documentation.
• Communicate observations and security-related concerns promptly to site contacts, Allied Universal leadership, and emergency responders as appropriate.

Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience, 2 years of security-related supervisor or manager experience, or 3 years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
