Security Officer Part Time Unarmed TWIC Patrol Operations

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and personnel at a maritime government location by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, waterfront‑adjacent areas, and perimeter locations to identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and incident documentation in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, promptly notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Communicate observations and concerns clearly with Allied Universal leadership, site personnel, and responding authorities while maintaining a professional presence.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess a TSA‑issued TWIC.
• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles).
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment, subject to state and/or local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.
