About the role

As a Part-Time Unarmed Route Inspection Driver Security Officer in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Financial Institutions. This role offers flexibility to build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. This driving post provides the opportunity to deliver exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a financial institution by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed by site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, lobby areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and vendor activity in accordance with site procedures; report unusual conditions and/or policy violations to site leadership.
• Prepare accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and patrol documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Qualifications

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
