About the role

As a Part-Time Unarmed Security Officer with driving and route inspection duties in Johnstown, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Retail/Malls. This role offers flexibility to build a schedule that works for you and explore new opportunities using our Claim a Shift platform. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store associates by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, stockrooms, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor for suspicious activity, unauthorized access, and policy violations to deter loss-related incidents and support a welcoming shopping environment.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity in accordance with site procedures, and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

• Wednesday: 2:00 PM - 11:00 PM
