Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and security-related hazards.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report access-control concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and complete incident reports according to Allied Universal and site requirements.
• Maintain a professional presence while communicating clearly with site contacts and responding to requests for assistance in accordance with established procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
