Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol Assessment

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the distribution facility, parking areas, trailer yards, loading docks, access points, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, directing visitors and delivery personnel, and maintaining required visitor and vehicle entry records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and promptly reporting observations to appropriate personnel.
• Document patrols, incidents, and security-related concerns accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and client representatives.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
