About the role
As a Part-Time Security Officer, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as aerospace and defense. You can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with personnel and visitors, and support a team-oriented culture built on integrity, reliability, agility, and innovation.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of facilities, restricted areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations, noting unusual conditions and helping to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and maintain required logs and documentation.
- Support protection of sensitive aerospace and defense operations by reporting security-related concerns, hazards, and procedural deviations in accordance with site requirements.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of security-related experience.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$20.30 / hour

- Saturday: 06:30 AM - 06:00 PM
- Sunday: 06:30 AM - 06:00 PM
