Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol Observation

About the role

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the business, perimeter, parking areas, entrances, and other designated locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required by site policy, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel, guests, and responding agencies while supporting a positive and orderly environment.

Requirements

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$19.00 / Hour

Schedule

• Friday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Saturday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
