About the role
As a Part-Time Unarmed Security Officer in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. This role offers flexibility to build a schedule that works for you using our Claim a Shift platform. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, respond to alarms and access concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a corporate technology location while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of office areas, parking facilities, building perimeters, and other assigned locations to identify and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points, visitor activity, and credential compliance in accordance with site procedures; report unauthorized access attempts or policy concerns.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
- Prepare clear, accurate activity and incident reports and communicate relevant security-related observations to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
Requirements
- At least two years of security-related experience.
- Proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- At least 21 years of age (18+ for unarmed roles, 21+ for armed roles).
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Subject to a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Pay
$17.77 / hour
Schedule
- Saturday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
- Sunday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
