Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, operational areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials for employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$18.50 / Hour

Daytime, Saturday 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM, Sunday 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM
