Position Details

Security Officer – Part Time, Unarmed Patrol Driver (Vehicle Operations) in Johnstown, OH. The role involves serving and safeguarding clients in a range of industries such as retail/malls.

Pay

$18.50 per hour.

Schedule

• Wednesday: 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM
• Thursday: 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, exterior perimeter, and parking areas, as assigned.
• Monitor access points and observe activity to help deter unauthorized access, theft‑related activity, and other policy violations.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy (required for driving positions).
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of a background investigation in compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be subject to state or local regulations and may be required prior to employment.
