Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol Driver Reporting

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic aerospace and defense location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support security-related operations, and deliver exceptional customer service. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of assigned buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas, reporting unusual conditions and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access to restricted areas by verifying credentials, following visitor and contractor entry procedures, and reporting access-control concerns to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation protocols.
• Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities accurately in required logs and reports while maintaining awareness of sensitive operational areas.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Saturday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sunday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
