Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and employees while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property buildings, common areas, parking facilities, loading areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor and contractor activity, and report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and emergency services when appropriate.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports, logs, and shift documentation related to patrol activities, incidents, and daily site operations.

Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
