Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol CPR Certified

About the role

As a Part-Time Unarmed Patrol Security Officer at a financial institution location in Charlotte, NC, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, customers, and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of banking facility interiors, exterior areas, parking locations, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and vendor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel as directed.
• Assist with maintaining a professional presence at the location to help deter unauthorized access, theft, and other security-related concerns.

Requirements

• At least three years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
• High school diploma or GED (required by the client).
• At least 21 years of age.
• Guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$20.00 / hour

Schedule

• Friday: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Saturday: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Sunday: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
