Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol

About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and drivers. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and report observations with integrity. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the distribution facility, loading areas, parking lots, access points, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity for personnel, visitors, contractors, and delivery vehicles in accordance with location procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and location procedures.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
