About the role

As a Part-Time Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a healthcare location in Orlando, FL, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Using a computer or tablet, you will help create a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff while demonstrating our agile, reliable, innovative, caring, teamwork-driven, and integrity-focused values.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, employees, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the healthcare location, including parking areas, building entrances, common areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor for unusual activity, unauthorized access, and potential hazards, helping to deter incidents through a professional presence and timely reporting.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$17.53 / hour

Schedule

• Saturday: 05:15 AM - 05:15 PM
• Sunday: 05:00 AM - 05:00 PM
