About the role

Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications retail location in Panorama City, CA. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, exterior perimeter, and parking areas, to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious activity, policy violations, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner and document observations and actions in accordance with site procedures.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures, visitor interactions, and other security-related duties as assigned by Allied Universal and site leadership.

Requirements

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Sunday: 09:30 AM - 07:00 PM
