As an Unarmed Security Officer at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for visitors and staff. You will communicate professionally, respond to routine concerns, and contribute to Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture through teamwork and integrity.

Schedule

• Daytime Friday 08:45 AM – 09:15 PM
• Daytime Saturday 08:45 AM – 09:15 PM

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public at a government retail and administrative location by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout assigned buildings, retail areas, offices, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity within assigned areas, reporting suspicious conditions, policy violations, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required logs for incidents, patrols, and other security-related activities.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
