About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Access Control professional at a chemical/petrochemical location in Paulsboro, NJ. You will manage site entry, verify credentials, monitor access points, conduct routine patrols, help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This driving position offers the opportunity to support critical operations while working with an agile, reliable, innovative team that puts people first, delivers through teamwork, and acts with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Control access to the chemical and petrochemical facility by verifying credentials, authorizations, visitor sign-in requirements, and delivery entry procedures.
• Monitor access points, gates, and alarm or camera systems; report unusual activity, access concerns, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency and notification protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access areas, buildings, and the perimeter, documenting observations and helping to deter unauthorized entry.

Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

• Saturday: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sunday: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
