As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a government transit location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to concerns, support visitors and staff with exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly with team members. - Day: Saturday 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to transit passengers, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, administrative spaces, and surrounding perimeter areas to help identify and report security-related concerns.
- Respond to incidents, service disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting observations as required.
- Monitor access points and observe activity at assigned locations, helping to deter unauthorized entry, trespassing, vandalism, and other prohibited conduct.
- Prepare clear, accurate reports on incidents, patrols, unusual activity, and interactions with passengers, staff, law enforcement, and emergency responders.
Minimum Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
