Security Officer Part Time - Shopping Center

About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with customers and store personnel while supporting a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to customers, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter, while reporting unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe the location for potential security-related concerns, helping to deter theft, trespassing, and unauthorized activity.
• Document incidents, observations, and policy violations in accordance with site procedures and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Wednesday: 04:00 PM - 10:15 PM
• Thursday: 04:00 PM - 10:15 PM
