Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, packages, and deliveries in accordance with access-control procedures and site requirements.
• Verify identification, credentials, and authorization for entry; document visitor activity and direct individuals to appropriate locations.
• Monitor access points, screening equipment, and security-related systems; report irregularities, prohibited items, and policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses required may vary based on state and/or local laws and regulations.
