Security Officer Part Time Screening

This role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related screening procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Screen individuals, personal items, packages, and/or vehicles entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and established screening protocols.
• Monitor entry points, loading and unloading areas, and other designated access locations to help to deter unauthorized access and report unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying the appropriate contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, trailer yards, dock areas, and perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.

Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

Pay Rate: $16.33 / Hour

Schedule

DayTimeSat03:00 AM - 11:00 AM, with a six (6) month commitment to a fixed-shift.
