Job Description

That’s why we created the Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced position: a flexible, dependable option for individuals looking to supplement their income, gain hands-on experience, or work toward a full-time career with the industry leader. As a Security Officer Part Time Screener in Baltimore, MD, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.
Pay & Schedule
Pay Rate: $18.63 / Hour
Job Schedule: Day, Time, Sat (06:00 AM - 03:00 PM)
How This Role Works
Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to guests, crew, and visitors by carrying out screening procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at the location.
- Screen individuals, personal items, and/or access points for prohibited items or irregularities, and report concerns through appropriate site protocols.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using clear communication with site contacts and/or emergency personnel.
- Monitor entry and restricted areas, help to deter unauthorized access, and document screening-related activities, observations, and/or incidents.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around assigned areas and the perimeter, as work environments and conditions may vary by location.
Minimum Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
