As a Screener at a logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a secure environment by screening personnel and visitors, monitoring access points, and reporting security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting site operations through teamwork and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, drivers, visitors, and vendors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Screen personnel, visitors, packages, and/or vehicles entering and leaving the warehouse location in accordance with established procedures.
• Verify identification, visitor authorization, delivery documentation, and access credentials before permitting entry to restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and promptly communicate concerns to site leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouse entrances, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay and schedule

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour. Schedule: Thursday 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM, Saturday 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM, Sunday 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM.
