Security Officer Part Time Residential Patrol

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and help to document relevant activity according to site guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, vendor, and/or delivery activity in accordance with property procedures, reporting issues to site contacts when needed.
• Support a respectful residential atmosphere by communicating clearly with residents and/or visitors and helping to address rule-related concerns consistent with location expectations.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
