About the role

As a Front Desk Security Professional in an aerospace and defense location, you will serve as a welcoming, professional point of contact for employees and visitors. You will support access control, verify credentials, monitor activity, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time
Pay Rate: $20.56 / Hour

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a front desk within an aerospace and defense location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Monitor access to the facility by verifying visitor credentials, issuing visitor badges, maintaining entry records, and directing guests in accordance with established procedures.
• Answer incoming calls, provide general site information, and communicate visitor arrivals, deliveries, and service requests to appropriate personnel.
• Observe front-desk activity and report unusual activity, access concerns, or security-related incidents to site leadership and/or appropriate responders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following emergency response activities and site protocols.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
