About the role

A Allied Universal® Security Officer Part Time Reception Security in Los Angeles, CA, plays a crucial role in safeguarding clients across various industries. This position offers flexibility in scheduling and the opportunity to explore different roles through the Claim a Shift platform.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, visitor processing, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor front desk activity, manage access points, and help deter unauthorized entry by verifying identification, credentials, and/or visitor information in accordance with location policies.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with property management and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Maintain accurate logs, reports, and front desk records related to security-related activities, deliveries, visitor check-ins, and/or unusual incidents.
• Answer questions, provide directions, and support day-to-day front desk operations while upholding location rules, procedures, and professional standards.

Requirements

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Have access control and badge experience.
• Have customer service experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.
