How This Role Works
Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.
Responsibilities
Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
Monitor front desk activity, manage visitor access in accordance with location protocols, and help to address questions, directions, and general assistance needs in a professional manner.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and documenting security-related concerns as needed.
Observe lobby and entry activity, report unusual behavior or conditions, and help to support access control and security-related operations at the front desk.
Minimum Requirements
Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
A guard card and/or license is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
