Security Officer Part Time Property Patrol

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, exterior areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas for suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or potential loss prevention concerns, and communicate observations to site contacts when needed.
• Support store personnel and visitors by giving directions, addressing routine questions, and documenting security-related activities, incidents, and/or concerns during each shift.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
