Security Officer Part Time Perimeter Patrol

About the role
As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location in Elizabethtown, PA, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will support a welcoming environment through routine patrols, incident reporting, and professional interactions with tenants and visitors.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property areas, including building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations.
- Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location to help deter unauthorized entry, property damage, and other security-related concerns.
- Document patrols, incidents, and unusual conditions in required reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Pay
$17.84 / hour

- Saturday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
- Sunday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
