As a Security Officer Part Time Perimeter Patrol in Saint Paul, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to concerns, document observations, and provide exceptional customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, including exterior areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and report unusual activity, access concerns, and maintenance issues according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner and notify appropriate personnel as directed.
• Complete accurate patrol logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while helping to deter unauthorized access and potential policy violations.

Requirements

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws (Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws).
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations (may be required prior to employment).
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Pay

$23.18 per hour.

Schedule

Part-time. Wednesday 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM, Thursday 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM, Friday 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
