Security Officer Part Time Perimeter

About the role

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a residential community, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while contributing to a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, guests, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access activity and assist with visitor, vendor, and delivery entry procedures in accordance with community policies.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and security-related concerns to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• Have at least two years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A Guard Card is required.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Saturday: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sunday: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
