How This Role Works

Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.

Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or guests at a corporate technology location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of office areas, exterior grounds, parking facilities, entry points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Maintain awareness of activity throughout assigned areas and communicate security-related concerns, maintenance issues, and policy violations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
