Security Officer Part Time Patrol Specialist

About the role

As a Part-Time Security Officer Patrol Specialist in Nashville, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Government. This unarmed patrol role supports a government location, monitoring and patrolling assigned areas to deter security-related incidents while delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to government location personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of government buildings, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and contractor activity in accordance with site procedures; report unusual conditions.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related activities accurately and promptly in required reports or logs.

Requirements

• At least three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age (21+ for armed roles).
• Subject to a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
