Security Officer Part Time Patrol Specialist

As a Security Officer Part Time Patrol Specialist in San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal management.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, entrance areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor store activity, observe customer and employee traffic patterns, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or hazards that could affect daily operations.
• Support closing and opening procedures, assist with access control for restricted areas, and help maintain an orderly environment for customers and staff.

Requirements

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

• Ability to respond calmly and effectively to emergencies.

• Knowledge of security protocols and emergency response procedures.
