Security Officer Part Time Patrol Rover

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials where required, and report policy violations, maintenance concerns, and/or suspicious activity according to site guidelines.
• Support day-to-day operations by maintaining visible presence, assisting with directional questions, and completing required reports, logs, and/or incident documentation before the end of each shift.

Requirements

• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include a valid driver's license for driving positions only.
