Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors while carrying out site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of utility operations areas, buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and notification procedures.
  • Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, and security-related observations, and communicate concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
