About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, customers, and visitors. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and customers at a financial institution by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned areas, including banking offices, customer areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter, as applicable.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, report unusual activity or conditions, and maintain accurate activity and incident documentation.
• Help to deter unauthorized access and security-related concerns through a professional presence and adherence to post orders.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
