Pay

Pay Rate: $18.87 / Hour

Schedule

Day Time: Friday, 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and families by carrying out site-specific procedures, school district policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of school buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directing guests, and report suspicious activity, facility concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while maintaining a professional presence in a government education environment.

Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
