About the role

As an Unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. Deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while reflecting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-focused, and integrity-driven values.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facility interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report security-related concerns.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
  • Monitor access points and help maintain controlled entry procedures for authorized patients, visitors, staff, and vendors.
  • Document patrol activities, incidents, and observations in accordance with site-specific reporting requirements.

Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Pay

$19.45 / Hour

Schedule

  • Tuesday: 05:30 AM - 01:30 PM
  • Wednesday: 05:30 AM - 01:30 PM
  • Thursday: 05:30 AM - 01:30 PM
