About the role
As a Part-Time Unarmed Patrol Driver Response Security Officer in Conshohocken, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Tech, Media, and Telecom. This role offers flexibility to build a schedule that works for you using our Claim a Shift platform. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology, media, or telecommunications-related industrial location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to identify unusual activity, unauthorized access, or potential hazards.
- Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, directing visitors and contractors, and maintaining required entry and exit records.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols and documenting observations.
- Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, patrol findings, and security-related concerns.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
