Security Officer Part Time Patrol Circuit

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a hotel and resort environment.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, corridors, guest-facing areas, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, observe activity across the location, and report maintenance issues, hazards, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with crowd and traffic flow during peak guest activity, special events, arrivals, departures, and/or other high-visibility periods while maintaining a professional presence.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications: Be at least 21 years of age.
• Additional qualifications: Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Preferred qualifications: Being comfortable using a computer or tablet, CPR and/or First Aid, CPR certification, and a high school diploma or equivalent.
