Security Officer - Part Time Patrol

As a Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol Property Checks in West Chicago, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the facility by observing entry and exit activity, verifying credentials as directed by site procedures, and documenting visitor and contractor activity.
• Prepare clear, timely reports of patrol observations, incidents, and security-related concerns, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site management.

Requirements

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
