Security Officer - Part Time Patrol

This role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and transportation facility users while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of parking areas, access points, walkways, garages, and surrounding perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to designated areas, observe vehicle and pedestrian activity, and report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; contact appropriate personnel and emergency services as directed.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required daily activity logs, incident documentation, and shift communications.

Requirements

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

Pay Rate: $21.84 / Hour

This role requires a six (6) month commitment to a fixed-shift, with the option to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform.
